ONE BITE

A momo the size of a marble

Guchha means a marble, and a guchha momo is small enough to eat whole: no cutting, no halves, just the momo, its juice and a dip of achar, in one bite. Kathmandu has eaten its momos this way since the old cinema-hall stalls; ours come fresh from the steamer or the pan.
